MSI welcomes development partners to London
This month, Marie Stopes International held our annual development partners meeting in London.
Our work in reaching adolescents was a key theme of the meeting, and there were also initial discussions about what needs to happen for girls and women to have universal access to contraception and safe abortion by 2030.
We were honoured to welcome leading experts in adolescent health, including Dr Chandra-Mouli Venkatramen (WHO), advocate Catherine Nyambura (FEMNET), and the Kingdom of the Netherlands Youth Ambassador, Melodi Tamarzians.
The discussion, which ranged from ethics to sustainability, greatly benefitted from interventions from the many partners who gave their time to attend, including Amplify Change, Bayer, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, CIFF, DFAT Australia, DFID, Fondation Chanel, Global Affairs Canada, Hewlett Foundation, Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs France, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Netherlands, NORAD, Options, Packard Foundation, SheDecides, SIDA, UNFPA, United Nations Foundation and Vitol Foundation.
